Drake has recovered from his recent battle with COVID-19, and as promised, he has confirmed a new date for his Young Money reunion concert with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.

The show was originally scheduled for last Monday (August 1), but was postponed just hours before kick-off when Drake revealed he had tested positive for COVID-19. At the time, the rapper said he would reschedule the show “at the earliest possible date,” assuring fans that “the minute I test negative I’m going to give you everything I’ve got on stage (except covid).”
The show will take place tonight (August 6) at its original venue, the 16,000-capacity Budweiser Stage in Drake’s hometown of Toronto. The show concludes Drake’s trilogy of shows for his “October Global Weekend,” a series of new concerts that the rapper says will precede the global expansion of his own music festival, OVO Fest.
Announcing the new date on Instagram, Drake wrote: “This was the only date available until the fall and because the family is so strong everyone is flying back in to make it for you all.”
Limited tickets for tonight’s show are still available to buy – find them here. When they first went on sale, Drake fans lambasted them for their outrageous prices. Currently, official “Platinum” tickets for the show start at $329.81 and go up to $890.31, while verified resale tickets range from $321.75 to $2,925.
Meanwhile, Drake is keeping busy this week with the release of his ‘Sticky’ music video – in which he shows his support for Young Thug and Gunna, as they continue to fight their recent gang-related causes – and with his DJ Khaled set. and Lil Baby ‘Stay Alive’.
Last week, Drake joined Nelly Furtado on stage at the ‘October World Weekend’ premiere to perform ‘I’m Like A Bird’ with her.
