The upcoming Don’t Play With Me Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack *(Season 2) revealed a character visual for Hayase Nagatoro. Studio OLM is animating the second season of the popular rom-com, and the premiere date is set for January 7, 2023. Sumire Uesaka voices Nagatoro and also sings the opening theme song “LOVE CRAZY,” which was revealed in the latest trailer.
Daiki Yamashita reprises his role as Naoto Hachioji. Nana Mizuki voices Bucho, Mikako Komatsu is Maki, Aina Suzuki is Yoshi, and Shiori Izawa is Sakura. The second season will also have some additions:
- Yoshino Nanjo as Nagatoro’s sister
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Hana Sunomiya
- Kaori Maeda as Orihara
Shinji Ushiro will direct the sequel, and Taku Kishimoto will be involved in series composition. Character designer Misaki Suzuki returns and Jin composes the music. The first season of the series was animated by Telecom Animation Film and aired during the Spring 2021 anime season with a total of 12 episodes.
The anime is based on a web manga by Nanashi. It began publication in 2017 in Kodansha’s online magazine Pocket. Kodansha USAlicensed the manga in Englishand describes the plot as:
Nagatoro is a high school freshman who loves to tease and torment her older classmate! What is her motivation and why does Senpai put up with her? Does Nagatoro just want to make Senpai miserable? Or maybe she secretly likes him?
