Detective Is Dead Now Season 2 Announced

The detective is already dead the anime is getting a season 2. No word yet on the air date or studio. A teaser trailer was released:

The first season ended on September 19, 2021, after a total of 12 episodes. Manabu Kurihara directed it at ENGI studio. You can watch the series on Crispy roll.

To mark the announcement of Season 2, the illustrators of The detective is already dead manga adaptation made different illustrations.

The detective is already dead is a Japanese light novel series written by Nigoju and illustrated by Umibozu. Media Factory began publishing the series in November 2019 and currently has 6 volumes in circulation. The same publisher has serialized a manga adaptation since 2020 and currently has 4 volumes available. Yen Press licensed The detective is already dead series of light novels in English and describes the plot as:
