The new dates will follow the UK and European leg of the world tour, which kicks off with a concert in Syracuse, New York on Saturday, August 5. The two multi-generational metal bands will play in Columbus at Ohio Stadium on Tuesday, August 8, before heading to Fargo, Omaha and Tulsa. For now, the tour will end in El Paso on Friday, August 18.
As with most dates on the tour, which kicks off with back-to-back performances in Atlantic City on Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11, Alice Cooper will be headlined by Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe. The only dates Cooper will not be performing are those where the headliners are part of larger festivals.
Tickets for all the new concerts go on sale next Friday (December 16) at 10am local time, following a pre-sale with members of Rock Brigade, Citi and Live Nation. Here you will find more information about the presale and here you will find the tickets.
In a joint press release, Mötley Crüe said of the upcoming concerts: “We had a great time playing The Stadium Tour in North America this summer and we can’t wait to take the show around the globe with The WORLD Tour in 2023. Crüeheads, you! Get ready because we have great dates in America!”
Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott shared his excitement with us: “After getting back on the road last summer, we can’t wait to bring this massive tour to a global audience, including some special dates in America !”
