DanMachi dates the premiere of the second part of its fourth season

The official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Fujino Oomori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, Dungeon and Deai wo Motomeru or Machigatteiru Darou ka? (DanMachi: Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?), a new promotional video for the fourth season of the project was released. The video confirms that the premiere of the second part is scheduled for next January 5th in Japan.

Oomori and Yasuda began publishing light novels through the track GA Bunko from the publisher SBCcreative in January 2013, and the publisher published the sixteenth volume in October 2020, followed by the seventeenth volume in April 2021 in Japan. In addition to several manga adaptations, the work inspired a three-season anime adaptation and a feature film released in February 2019 in Japan.

Production team

  • Hideki Tachibana (Toaru Majutsu without Index, Toaru Kagaku or Railgun S, Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios JCSTAFF.
  • Shirane Hideki (Date A Live, Hidan no Aria, Hundred, Boku no Kanojo and Majimesugiru Sho-bitch and Ken) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
  • Shigeki Kimoto (Toradora!, zero and Tsukaima) is in charge of character design.
  • Jin Aketagawa who was in charge of audio guidance during Keiji Inai who was composing the soundtrack.

The intrepid adventurer Bell Cranel has leveled up, but he can’t rest on his laurels in the dungeon. The Hestia Familia still has a long way to go before they can take on the other Orario Families, but before Bell can embark on his next mission, reports of a brutal murder shock the emerging community. One of Bell’s trusted allies is framed for the horrific crime, and it’s up to Bell and his friends to clear his name and uncover a sinister plot in the dark depths of the dungeon.
