The previously announced Yaka x Zloba anime adaptation revealed a teaser trailer, along with information on the format: two-part movies. The premiere of the first part is in the early summer of 2023. Studio DEEN will animate the film, and the distributor is Avex Pictures.
The official title is Collar x Malice -deep cover-. The teaser trailer also features the title track “Ningen×Shikkaku” performed by Kizu.
The main cast for the anime film includes:

- Yuki Kaji as Kei Okazaki
- Soma Saito as Mineo Enomoto
- Daisuke Namikawa as Takeru Sasazuka
- Ryohei Kimura as Kageyuki Shiraishi
Yaka x Zloba the visual novel was developed by Idea Factory under the Otomate brand. It was first released in Japan in 2016 exclusively for the PlayStation Vita. It was then released by Aksys Games in 2017 for North America and Europe and received a Nintendo Switch version in 2020.
