Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! there could be an important announcement

On the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Turkey and illustrated by Nozomi Ousaka, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! (Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!), shared a cryptic message that could hint at some important announcement for the franchise coming soon.

The short message writes: «Opportunity knocks on the door. When the time comes, the “celebration” doors will open.». The message may seem like nonsense, but the word “celebrate” is central to the franchise, especially this year. It turns out that this October was ten years since the premiere of the anime adaptation in Japan. Could it be that you have prepared something?

Torako and Nozomi Ousaka started publishing the light novels through the publisher KA Esuma Bunko in June 2011, and they finished it in December 2017 with only four volumes. The work inspired a two-season anime adaptation, produced by the studios kyoto animation and for the first time i Autumn-2012 (October-December) and Winter-2014 (January-March)with twelve episodes each.

The adaptation ended with the production of the film Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Film: Take On Me, was released in January 2018 in theaters in Japan. As for the adaptation, both seasons were “loosely based” on the first two volumes of the original light novels, inaccurately due to the studios kyoto animation they usually adapt their publishing label’s novels to their liking.
