Comments and illustrations were also released by some of the staff and cast to mark the announcement of the sequel. A release date has not yet been set.
The first season was animated by Flad and Wolfsbane studios and had 13 episodes. It premiered in October 2021. Makoto Hoshino directed the anime, which is based on the light novel series written by Zappon and illustrated by Yasumo. Kadokawa Shoten has been serializing it since June 2018 and currently has 10 volumes in circulation. A manga adaptation is also ongoing, illustrated by Masahiro Ikeno with 9 volumes.
