Call of the Night anime preview trailer and images for episode 11

The call of the night anime has released a preview trailer and images for episode 11 along with the title and synopsis. The episode will air on September 15 and is titled “Have you ever heard of vampires?”, which corresponds to the 38th chapter of the manga collected in the 4th volume. The anime appears to be animating the 36th, 37th, and 38th chapters of the manga in the next episode.

The newly released images show new character Anko Uguisu alongside main character Ko Yamori, his childhood friends Akira Asai and Mahiru Seki, and vampire Nazuna Nanakusa.

The episode synopsis describes the protagonist’s first meeting with new character Anko Uguisu:
After Nazuna’s suggestion, Ko was trying to attract customers to their sleep cafe. He struck up a conversation with a tired-looking woman and went with her to a cafe. He happens to be interested in the woman’s smoking and gloves and asks her what she does for work. He gets her business card that says “detective”…

The call of the night Episode 11 preview trailer

Kotoyama rules The call of the night series in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. The series will release its thirteenth volume on September 15, 2022. The manga is named after the Creepy Nuts song of the same name, “Yofukashi no Uta” in Japanese. The band performed both the opening and closing track titled “Dated” and “Yofukashi no Uta” respectively. LIDENFILMS animated the manga adaptation under the direction of Tomoyuki Itamura.
