Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 will premiere in January 2023, as previously shown in the first trailer. The information was revealed during the Crunchyroll Expo, which was attended by Bones studio president Masahiko Minami and Kadokawa producer Chiaki Kurakane. The panel is still ongoing and will be available as video on demand starting today at 5pm PST.

The fourth season of the hugely popular anime was announced last November when it was announced that Bones Studio would be returning to animation. Takuya Igarashi is directing the sequel, while Youjo Enokido is writing the script and composing the series. Both Igarashi and Enokido worked on the previous seasons; Igarashi directed A dead apple movie. Nobuhiro Arai is handling the character designs and is also listed as the main animation director.
Bungo Stray Dogsis based on the manga by Kafka Asagiri, with illustrations by Hirukawa35. Serialization began in 2012 in Young Ace magazine with Yen Press holding the English license. A prequel manga with art by Sango Harukawa is currently underway in Kadokawa Beans Bunko magazine.
The anime adaptation aired in the spring of 2016, followed by a second season in the fall season of the same year. Season 3 aired in 2019. The franchise also has a film of the same titleBungo Stray Dogs: Dead Appleas well as anOVA Bungo Stray Dogs: Walking Alonefrom 2017. A stage play entitled Bringing a storm was announced earlier this year, and a live-action film is also in the works.

After being kicked out of the orphanage, a desperate young man named Atsushi Nakajima saves a strange man from a suicide attempt – Osamu Dazai. It turns out that Dadzai is part of an armed detective agency staffed by people whose supernatural powers take on a literary bent!
