Brooklyn Brewery and NME launch the Brooklyn Sound Concert Series for Fall 2022

In collaboration with Brooklyn Brewery

NME has partnered with Brooklyn Brewery to launch a revival of its Brooklyn Sound live music series, which will run three shows across the borough during October and November.

The concerts will showcase local talent from New York City’s incredible musical talent pool across a variety of genres, starting on October 12 at Elsewhere with Nation of Language and Infinite Coles. The series will continue at the Bell House on October 25 with MICHELLE and Sarah Kinsley, and then at Union Pool on November 2 with CLIP and Rebounder. Tickets for all shows will be free, and fans can RSVP in advance via the ticket links below.

Of the upcoming series, Benedict Ransley, marketing director for NME Networks, says, “As a presence NMEin North America, we’re excited to collaborate with Brooklyn Brewery in Brooklyn Sound; a series of exclusive shows that will offer free live music experiences in some of the most iconic venues in the neighbourhood.

“The NME curated lineup ranges from R&B to indie-pop, reflecting the spirit and diversity of Brooklyn and promises to deliver an unforgettable night of world-class music for our collective audience.”

Since its inception in 2018, it has featured artists such as Ho99o9, Lightning Bolt and former Brooklyn Sound cover stars NME The sunflower woman through her events. The new iteration of the series will continue to support emerging local artists from across the musical spectrum and highlight the diversity of New York City’s subcultures.

“We draw a lot of inspiration from the culture of our community, and music is a vital part of that,” says Brooklyn USA Brewery Marketing Director Mildred Lee. “NME has long been a respected music discovery platform, and has done a lot to unearth new talent over the years.”

He continues, “We are thrilled to partner with them to bring the Brooklyn Sound back to our hometown, where we will present a curated list of incredible musicians at three of Brooklyn’s most beloved venues.”

Admission to series events will be for those over 21 years of age, and reservations will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to each venue’s capacity. Brooklyn Brewery will offer surprise giveaways at each show.
