Parallel anime movies Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e and Kimi wo Aishita Hitori no Boku e revealed their lead cast. The films released a joint preview in May this year, and the two will premiere in Japan on October 7.
The main cast for the films (also known as To everyone I’ve loved before and To the lonely self who loved you) includes Hio Miyazawa as the characters in Koyomi Takasaki Boku ga Aishita and Koyomi Hidaka inside Kimi wa Aishita. Meanwhile, Aju Makita plays the role of Shiori Sato (Kimi or Aishita) and Ai Hashimoto plays Kazune Takigawa (Boku ga Aishita).
Boku ga Aishita will be directed by Atsushi Matsumoto and animated by Bakken Record. On the other hand, Kimi wa Aishita will be directed by Kenichi Kasai of TMS Entertainment. Rico Sakaguchi is responsible for the script of both films, and Shimano is responsible for the character design concepts. Both films are based on Yomiji Otono’s 2016 sci-fi love novels published by Hayakawa Shobo. They describe the story:
A world where it has been proven that people swing between slightly different parallel worlds every day … After the divorce of his parents, Koyomi Takasaki, who lives with his mother, enters a local high school. However, his classmate Kazune Takigawa suddenly approaches him. She says that she has moved from the 85th world and that Koyomi and Kazune are lovers there … Is he in the parallel world, himself in this world?

A world where people have been proven to swing between slightly different parallel worlds every day … Koyomi Hidaka, who lives with her father after his parents divorced, meets a girl named Sato Shiori at the Institute of False Quality Science where his father works. They are both a little in love with each other, but when their parents remarry, everything changes. Convinced that they will never be together, Koyomi and Shiori try to jump into another world where they will not be brother and sister …, but a world without her makes no sense.
