BLEACH manga author draws an evil Unohana for BLEACH: TYBW Episode 10

BLEACH manga author Tite Kubo’s official Twitter account posted an illustration of Yachiru/Retsu Unohana after the airing of BLITZ: A Thousand Years of Blood War10th episode of anime “The battle“. Studio Pierrot animated the adaptation, and it airs every Monday in Japan (international stream on Disney+ and Hulu).

The visual post, which came without a caption, shows a sickly looking Yachiru/Retsu Unohana. Aya Hisakawa voiced the character in Bleach anime adaptation.

The anime’s official Twitter account also posted a special wallpaper that features the character and Kenpachi Zaraki in the back with her line that fighting is everything and there’s nothing else she can cut apart from the man. Part of the inscription is a quote from her saying goodbye to him, the only person in the world who made her happy.

Studio Pierrot animated the Tite Kubo adaptationBLEACHmanga that was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from August 2001 to August 2016 for a total of 74 volumes. The studio also worked on the original television anime adaptation, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012, which had a total of 366 episodes.BLITZ: A Thousand Years of Blood Warcurrently airing this season with a total of four courses. The new anime covers manga chapters 480 to 686 (volumes 55 to 74). Main character cast members such as Masakazu Morita and Yuki Matsuoka reprise their roles as Ichigo and Orihime from the original anime.

VIZ Media licensed the manga series for English editions and released the final, 74th compiled volume on October 2, 2018. The official website describes the plot ofvolume 55which constitutes the first chapter ofA thousand year bloody warrainbow like:
