The previously announced Beast Tamer anime adaptation has revealed a new trailer and preview ahead of its October 2022 premiere. EMT Squared Studio is animating the series under the direction of Atsushi Nigorikawa. New information was revealed at the Crunchyroll Expo and the anime’s official Twitter. Theme songs were also revealed:
- Discovery: “Change The World” by MADKID
- End: “LOVE AND MOON” by Marika Kohno
The main cast of the series includes Shoya Chiba as Rain, Rumi Okubo as Tanya, and Azumi Waki as Kanade. Minami Tanaka and Maria Sashide also join as Sora and Luna respectively. The staff includes:

The light novel the anime is based on is titledYusha Party wo Tsuihou Sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyo Shuzoku Nekomimi Shojo to Deau and is written by Suzu Miyana and illustrated by Hotosoka. The manga adaptation by moto Shigemura is also currently ongoing.
The plot follows Rain, who is kicked out of the hero’s group because his only skill is being able to communicate with animals to make them obey his orders. To move on with his life, he becomes an adventurer and along the way meets a demi-human with cat ears who is part of the strongest species in the world. After this fateful meeting, his life begins to change for the better.
