Arlo Parks canceled his appearance at today’s Mad Cool festival (July 10).
The musician posted the news on his Instagram Stories early in the evening, saying it was due to a COVID outbreak in his team.
Parks wrote in a statement: “Madrid! I am very sorry to announce that due to the outbreak of the coronavirus in my team, we are forced to suspend our show today at Mad Cool.
“We have been trying to play this time for years, we are very frustrated to do this, but we need the health and safety of my band and crew, as well as all the staff and attendees. , always bring to the fore.
“I’ll make up for this, I promise. I miss Madrid – AP love.”
Lorde recently introduced Parks and Clairo as special guests during their performance at Glastonbury 2022.
The New Zealand pop star performed on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday (June 26). Clairo and Parks joined Lorde to sing with her on the road “Stoned At The Nail Salon” from her 2021 album “Solar Power.”
Clairo has made the backing vocals on the songs “Solar Power” and “Stoned At The Nail Salon”. The two special guests performed this year at the Worthy Farm, Clairo on the John Peel Stage today and Parks on the Park Stage on Friday.
Parks with Phoebe Bridgers also took to the stage at Coachella in April for a few songs at the end of her series.
Towards the end of her series, Bridgers brought out Coachella performer Arlo Parks to collaborate with her on “Graceland Too” and “I Know The End,” both taken from Bridgers’ second album, “Punisher.”
