Arcade Fire is set to headline the reopening night of KOKO in London later this month.
KOKO, based at 1A Camden High Street in North London, will reopen this month as a “world – class live music venue and broadcast house” following a £ 70m three – year refurbishment and refurbishment.
The venue will reopen on April 29, and Arcade Fire will have a special keynote show on the night – celebrating their first live performance in the UK from April 2018.
The band will be playing in support of their new album ‘We’, due out on May 6 and already previewed by ‘The Lightning I, II’.
Tickets for the KOKO Arcade Fire concert will go on sale at 12:00 noon on Thursday (April 21) from now on, and pre – sale access is available with “We” pre – orders in any format on the official Arcade Fire UK store.
Fans around the world will also be able to listen to Amazon Music UK’s Twitch channel on Friday to watch a KOKO concert from home, and enjoy Arcade Fire on their playlist. [RE]INFORMATION.
The KOKO reopening weekend will also include the opening night of the KOKO Electronic club, which will feature a wide array of deephouse / techno DJ Luciano. Central Cee will be on stage at the venue on May 1 at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm

KOKO will also launch a new members club, The House Of KOKO. Members will have access to four new floors and secret shows inside the main theater, as well as the opportunity to participate in a new program of cultural events in the refurbished center.
Arcade Fire performed a secret series at Coachella last weekend, when they premiered their new track ‘Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)’.
The band will be playing on Saturday Night Live next month.
