The upcoming MAPPA-animated Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou movie revealed the main trailer. Mari Okada will be directing the movie which is slated to premiere on September 15 in Japan. Junya Enoki is voicing Kikuiri Masamune, Reina Ueda is Sagami Mutsumi and Misaki Kino is Itsumi. Koji Seto and Kento Hayashi are also a part of the cast, as Akimune and Tokimune Kikuiri.

Okada, who is also writing the script for the original movie, previouslystated that she wanted to recreatethe atmosphere she felt as a child while watching Japanese movies and anime movies. Boys will be the main characters in this movie which will depict the “tingling feeling of youth” instead of sweet and sour teenage drama. Mari Okada is known for her work on stories that depict youth and emotions, but most of them were told from the female perspective.
