Adele helps a couple reveal their gender in their Las Vegas residence

Adele helped a couple reveal their baby’s sex at one of her live concerts.

The exciting moment happened during one of the singer’s performances in Las Vegas, as part of his residency there.

In images shared on their Instagram and TikTok pages, fans of Adele Chis Fare and his wife Shantelle Lord managed to catch the singer’s attention and stop her performance to bring the couple up on stage and gender to expose a child.

Although it is forbidden to bring banners or signs to the show, the couple managed to sneak one in and held up a sign that said “Adele, will you reveal your gender?” during her Weekends With Adele residency program.

“There are no billboards here, I’m obsessed that you put one up,” Adele told the audience, inviting the couple to the front of the stage.

“I’ve never done this,” he said, taking a piece of paper from the couple and making sure someone was filming the blessed moment. Shantelle, who is 18 weeks pregnant, told the artist: “It’s a great honor for us to do this. We’ve known for 12 weeks and we’ve been waiting for this moment.”

Adele then took a seat at the edge of the stage, opened the envelope and told the audience: “Shantelle and Chris are having a baby…a boy!” as the couple celebrated and hugged the singer.

“It’s great! I’m so happy for you,” said Adele. “That’s emotional. Oh my god! When I get pregnant, will you reveal the sex to me?”

This latest comment appears to refer to an earlier interview the singer gave to Elle last year, in which she said she “definitely” wants more children, but is currently focused on her residency in Las Vegas. The concerts will last until November.

This is not the first time that Adele has interacted with her audience in one of her live shows in Nevada. Last month, the multiple Grammy-winning singer spoke out against the dangerous tendency of fans to throw things at performers on stage.

The discussion took place after several reported incidents of musicians being beaten during live performances. They included Bebe Rexha, who needed stitches after being hit in the head by a fan’s phone, P!nk, who was choked by a fan who threw her mother’s ashes on stage at BST Hyde Park, and Lil Nas X, he had to. disrupting a concert when a fan threw a sex toy on stage.

Adele addressed these incidents during one of her shows at Caesar’s Palace, shortly before a segment in which she shoots T-shirts at fans with a T-shirt gun. “Have you noticed that people are forgetting show etiquette, throwing shit on stage? Did you see that?” he said, as can be seen in the images posted on TikTok.

“Challenge me you throw something at me and I will kill you,” he said. “Stop throwing things at the artist!”
