A new Death Note live-action adaptation announced by the creators of Netflix and Stranger Things

The A death note The manga series is getting a new live-action adaptation from Strange things creators, the Duffer brothers and Netflix. Duffers has formed a production company, Upside Down Pictures, and will work on several new projects, including an adaptation of Stephen King and Peter Straub’s 1984 novel.The mascot.

A death note already has a live-action movie on Netflix that has received mixed reviews, especially from fans of the original manga and anime. The new live series will have a “completely new concept”.

The well-known anime adaptation of the studio MADHOUSE aired from 2005 to 2006 and had a total of 37 episodes. It is based on a manga written by Tsugumi Oba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata that ran from 2003 to 2006. The duo went on to create Platinum edge series.

Light Yagami is a genius high school student who is about to learn about life through a book about death. When a bored shinigami, a God of Death named Ryuk, drops a black notebook called the Death Note, Light gains power over life and death with the flick of a pen. Determined to use this dark gift for good, Light sets out to rid the world of evil…namely, the people he considers evil. Should anyone have such power? The consequences of the actions of the Light will set the world on fire.
