A new comic about the life of Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks has been published.
Yesterday (July 26), TodalWave Comics announced that they are adding Nicks to their “Female Focus” comic series, which focuses on women who influence the world.
Feminine Strength: Stevie Nicks is a 22-page comic chronicling Nicks’ life and career by author Michael Frizell and artist Ramón Salas.
The book is available in print and digital formats and the cover can be seen here:
Author Frizell said in a press release: “There’s a popular meme about how Taylor Swift writes sad songs about her exes, but Stevie Nicks has her exes singing songs she wrote about them explaining how awful they are, and every time I see it, I laugh.
“Stevie’s fear makes her a rock legend and explains her power and popularity.”
Previous “Female Power” titles have profiled Dolly Parton, Donna Summer, Tina Turner, Betty White, Michelle Obama, Barbra Streisand, Cher and Gloria Steinem.
