Metallica had a four-legged fan join them at their ‘M72’ world tour concert in California recently – with the band sharing a story of a dog watching the whole show after running away from home.
After escaping from his home, which is located near the SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California, the dog, named Storm, entered the venue and saw the entire 16-song concert that the band offered on August 27. Storm was able to enjoy hits from the band such as “Whiplash”, “One” and “Enter Sandman”.
The metal icons then took to their official pages on social networks to explain the adorable situation and shared a photo of Storm, who was sitting in one of the seats in the venue. “You may have heard that four-legged fans joined us for #M72LA! Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her house near SoFi Stadium and headed to the concert alone, ” they tweeted.
They continued: “After a whole night enjoying the show with her #MetallicaFamily, Storm was safely reunited with her royal family the next day.”
Metallica even had fun sharing dog-friendly renamed tracks in their tweet, adding: “Had fun listening to his favorite songs including ‘Barx Æterna’, ‘Master Of Puppies’ and ‘The Mailman That Never Comes’.” And in case you were wondering, no. You should definitely not bring your crazy friends with you on the #M72 World Tour. But this thing has definitely had its day…”
